First Edition. 8vo. xii + 550 pages + 4 pages adverts. Some light brown marking and light creasing to the pages. A slight roughness at the top of the first few leaves, probably from the separation of the pages by a reader. In the publisher's brown cloth binding, fading on the spine and cover and some wrinkling of the cloth, with a very small piece of cloth abraded towards the top of the spine and the corners a little knocked and rubbed. Two gatherings slightly prominent, but firmly attached. The edges of the pages somewhat dusty when the book is closed and the book slightly out of square.
